7th Annual Christmas Fair Saturday 29th November 2008
Another Fantastic Event!!!
The Christmas Fair was a total success - the venues were fabulous with a great atmosphere and more people than ever came through the doors. The Alcalde of Salou, Sr. Antonio Banyeres, opened the Fair at 11 am.
This year it was held at Charlie Chaplin’s bar disco and Christie’s pub next door, kindly loaned to the Freesia Group by Mark Evans and Chris McGrath - many thanks to both of them.
The raffle and the tombola as always were brilliant. There were foodstuffs, gifts, cards, decorations, toys, White Elephant, etc. Santa Claus in his Grotto! There were stalls from local shops and business,competitions, hot Christmas food and bar till late!
In all, we took some 6,800 euros, which will be distributed between the three cancer charities we support.
