Another Outstanding Success!!

Sunday, 6th May, 2007  Third Annual Family Fun Run in Salou

 
The Freesia Group, in collaboration with the local Town Hall, Sports Pavillion (Sr. Juan Hernandez), Tourist Office, local, regional and national businesses, celebrated its Third Annual Family Fun Run in Salou.   There were some 600 participants of all categories and ages.  In total approx. 9,000 euros was raised. This amount will be divided between the two cancer charities in Spain supported by the Freesia Group - the AECC (Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer) and the CNIO (Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas).
 

Very many thanks to all our sponsors, volunteers, press, local police, the Ayuntamiento, and, of course, the participants, who helped once again to make this event an outstanding success.  We hope you will help us to make next year’s Fun Run even more successful!

If you would like to purchase any of the photos taken on the day of the event, they can be obtained at The Old Pirate Restaurant, Playa Capellans,  Salou (opposite Hotel Salou Park).  Pirce 1 euro each.  They can be viewed on the computer there and orders taken.  The photos can then be collected a couple of days later.
