The Freesia Group raised 100 euros from their stall with home made produce and other items at the “Mercat Popular” in Altafulla on Sunday 7th March.

Annual Salou Jumble Sale

The annual Salou Jumble Sale will take place on Sunday 14th March at 12 noon at the Victoria Pub, C/Penedés, Salou.

Free entrance.

Hot food on sale, Tombola, Raffle, Books, CDs and videos, Home-made Produce, Clothes, etc.

Proceeds go to various charities.

Kay’s Sponsored Walk Saturday 20th February

I’d like to thank all the walkers and supporters for another successful sponsored walk. Around 40 walkers enjoyed a lovely sunny walk around the Mont-roig countryside and ended the day in the lovely Medieval Restaurant, El Monestir.

Thanks to the sponsorship money received and the personal donations of the walkers we have raised in the region of €400.

4th Annual St. Valentine’s Gala Dinner Dance Friday 12th February 2010

Some 100 people of various nationalities joined us for another fabulous Freesia dinner dance at the Club Nautic to celebrate St. Valentine’s day. The food and entertainment were fantastic and some €2,250 euros were raised for the three cancer charities supported by Freesia.

Thanks again to Rodney, Glen, Adam and Russell for volunteering to entertain us with their music and magic. Particular thanks to Beverley, Alex, Hannah and Marco for all their hard work in decorating the venue, making the posters, gifts, etc. Also, thanks to everyone who kindly donated the paintings, jewellery and other items for the auction and raffle.

Looking forward to next year’s event!!!

4ª Cena de Gala Anual para celebrar el día de San Valentín

Unos 100 personas de varias nacionalidades participaron en la cena/baile en beneficio de la lucha contra el cáncer.

Se recaudaron unos €2,250 para las tres asociaciones españolas que trabajan contra el cáncer apoyadas por el Freesia Group.

Gracias a todos los comercios locales y individuos para las donaciones para el sorteo y la subasta.

Una vez más un evento fabuloso!
